We have new exhibitions installed in all three galleries. Be sure to catch the artist reception on September 10, 5–7 pm, to meet with the artists and discuss the amazing works we have on display. Exhibitions run September 2 – October 2, 2010.
Kader Room:
For more than 40 years, artist John Whelan of La Crosse has explored the beauty and intricacy of both the human and botanical forms. This exhibit features recent works in charcoal and colored pencil.

Front Gallery:
Meticulously rendered still lifes by Chicago artist Carl Holzman seek to combine elements of the natural and artificial in fresh ways. Holzman manipulates light and composition to breathe new life into subject matter from produce to flea market finds – creating unified images that achieve a meditative calm and delight the viewer.

Balcony Gallery:
The 4-H Art Exhibit is comprised of a partial representation of items that were shown at the La Crosse Interstate Fair. This year’s event showcases works prepared by 4-H youth from kindergarten through one year past high school. Those chosen for this honor capture a diverse range of subject and media.
Reception: September 23, 2010
